| What do you mean by Fraud Risk
Management? |
Fraud expectations on Board members, managers
and auditors - both internal and external - are
at an all time high. But even with all of the attention
that has come from the Sarbanes Oxley Act and related
SEC rules, few organizations have performed a comprehensive
assessment of their risks from fraud, wrongdoing,
misconduct and related actions. |
Hall Consulting programs do just that - assist
clients in identifying their fraud related exposures
- not just in financial reporting, but also in operations,
contracting and outsourcing, finance and accounting,
information technology and everywhere else. |
But we even go beyond that. We assist you in determining
your organization's level of preparedness and help
you in developing effective programs to fill any
identified gaps. |
Fraud Risk Management training and consulting
engagements address all three critical levels of
action: |
Deterrence and Prevention |
Early Detection |
Effective Handling |
In short, Hall Consulting programs help you create and maintain
a comprehensive anti-fraud environment. |
| |
| Based on your past experience
in Fraud Risk Management, what is the most important
gap that still exists? |
Many organizations have failed to fully utilize
their most important anti-fraud resource - their
own people. |
There is a belief that a manager or employee with
key control responsibilities somehow knows how to
prevent, detect and handle fraud, misconduct, wrongdoing
and similar actions. This is a technical skill area.
And the truth is, despite their best efforts most
employees and managers just are not qualified. |
Hall Consulting programs teach people how to address fraud
risks in their areas of responsibility. We help
them acquire the skills needed to be successful
in the battle against wrongdoing. At a minimum,
these programs give employees and managers the skills
they need to be successful in their jobs. |
And best case - you'll actually be able to track
the savings resulting from these programs. Let us
show you. Just Contact Us and
ask! |
